About 20 PhD (BA) students attended today's monthly gathering to observe one of the fellow course mates Ms. Meena, to present her preliminary QE proposal. The session was chaired by Associate Prof. Dr. Chung (deputy CGS director) and was also attended by Dr. Rosmah, who is the new Program Coordinator.

Dr. Rosmah has replaced Prof. Ghazali, who has since been promoted as CGS Director. The students were fortunate today because the President/Vice Chancellor of OUM, YBhg Tan Sri Dr. Anuwar Ali was there to provide some positive advice. Also present, Prof. Dr. Rosli, Vice President of OUM, Prof. Ramli Bahroom, Financial Controller of OUM and Associate Prof. Dr. Santhi Ragavan, Director of Center of Students Management.

Gathering of PhD students at OUM Main Campus - 25th July 2010

Dear All
For the 25th July gathering/discussion session at GA01 seminar room, we are having a junior member Meenaskshi to present her progress report and hopefully a senior member to reveal his/her QE success journey.
We have invited Assoc Prof Dr Santhi Ragavan, ex-doctoral seminar facilitator and currently the Director of Centre for Student Management(CSM) to give a short motivation talk on how to pass QE and Viva without fear or tear .
This Sunday there is a OUM Alumni meeting at the Theatrette (Next to room GA01) and Dr Santhi is in the organizing committee. If possible, Dr Santhi is likely to invite OUM President/Vice Chancellor, Tan Sri Dr. Anuwar Ali at around 10.00 -10.30am to come and meet us. Meanwhile, as Prof Ghazali will be away for his daughter Izyan's wedding ceremony in Penang this weekend, Dr Chung, the deputy CGS Director and Dr Rosmah ,our new Coordinator for Phd (BA) will also be joining our discussion session.
Looking forward to meeting you all for the 5th informal gathering/discussion session and to welcome our new Coordinator Dr Rosmah.
